Who is responsible

The controller of personal data on this website is Shamim Minoo. For any request about your data, write to contact@shamimminoo.com.

The public site is shamimminoo.com. It is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which acts as a processor for hosting, content delivery, and security.

What we collect

This site does not use advertising or analytics scripts from third parties. Site code and fonts are served from this website (and Cloudflare’s network).

If you email contact@shamimminoo.com, we process your address and message only to reply (lessons, concerts, or other enquiries).

The contact form on the site is a local form. It does not send your data to a third-party marketing tool. Use the email address if you prefer not to use the form.

Cloudflare may process technical data needed to deliver the pages: IP address, browser type, date and time of the request, and security signals (for example bot protection). This is described in Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.

YouTube

Videos are shown as a local thumbnail until you choose to play. Only then is a YouTube player loaded (youtube-nocookie.com). If you play a video, YouTube (Google) may process data under its own terms. You can watch the same works on Shamim’s YouTube channel without using this site.

Why we process data (legal bases)

Reply to you: legitimate interest and, where you write to us, steps before a contract (lessons or concerts).

Run and secure the website via Cloudflare: legitimate interest in a working, protected site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell personal data and we do not build advertising profiles.

How long we keep data

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived as required by law (for example accounting if an invoice is issued).

Cloudflare logs are retained according to Cloudflare’s settings and documentation, typically for a short security period.

Where data is processed

Cloudflare operates a global network. Data may be processed in the European Union and in other countries with safeguards (including Standard Contractual Clauses) as described by Cloudflare.

If you play a YouTube video, Google may process data outside the EU under its own rules.

Your rights

You may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
